P Diddy got away and he won’t be charged for assault, as L.A. district attorney’s office declined felony charges. They will turn the case to L.A. city attorney’s office. The charges were made when Sean “Diddy” Combs had a dispute with UCLA football coach, where his son goes to school.
The incident happened on June 20 after the practice when the coach allegedly yield on Justin Combs, after that Diddy stepped in and wielded a kettle bell, a piece of weight-room equipment. But Diddy is claiming that he was just defending himself and his son. It happened that got him arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, battery and making criminal threats.
He was bailed out shortly after he was taken to custody. P Diddy lawyer Mark Geragos gave statement: “We are thankful that the district attorney rejected felony charges in this matter. This case never should have been part of the criminal justice system to begin with.” However, the city attorney’s office will review the case. UCLA kept the distance during the whole thing. Speaking about the attack UCLA officials said little except pointing out that nobody got seriously hurt and gave no comment on decision that district attorney made.
The coach gave short statement after arrest happened, saying: “This is an unfortunate incident for all parties involved.” Justin Combs, P Diddy’s son is a defensive back on the UCLA football team. He played for this team for three years now. So what now, would he still be part of the team? We have a feeling that coach won’t love him that much.
