One of the most popular wrestler in a whole world Hulk Hogan apologized for something he said 8 years ago.
People heard it now because of the transcript released by the National Enquirer. The transcript is from unauthorized sex tape, where Hulk is talking about his daughter, Brooke saying the n-word multiple times.
This is his statement:
“Eight years ago I used offensive language during a conversation. It was unacceptable for me to have used that offensive language; there is no excuse for it; and I apologize for having done it. I believe very strongly that every person in the world is important and should not be treated differently based on race, gender, orientation, religious beliefs or otherwise.
I am disappointed with myself that I used language that is offensive and inconsistent with my own beliefs. It is not who I am. I continue to work every day to improve as a person, and this matter is an important learning experience for me in that regard. As a result I am resigning from my contractual relationship with the WWE.”
But WWE said that they fired him.
This is their statement:
“WWE terminated its contract with Terry Bollea (aka Hulk Hogan). WWE is committed to embracing and celebrating individuals from all backgrounds as demonstrated by the diversity of our employees, performers and fans worldwide.” If you went to their site in past few days you could see that they erased every little thing that had anything to do with him. They erased him from Hall of Fame.
On social media some people attacked him while other defended him like Denis Rodman who said on his twitter account “I’ve known @HulkHogan for 25 years. Here he is hanging with Kylin in NJ. There isn’t a racist bone in that man’s body.” Well if black guys are defending him you got cut him some slack.
