Do you remember a car crash back in February, in which Caitlin Jenner, then known as Bruce Jenner, was involved? One woman ended up dead and few people were injured in that crash. Well, it seems that Caitlin could face some jail time for misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter.
Back in February reports stated that Bruce won’t be facing any charges, but things changed in the meantime. Usually in these kinds of cases charges get dismissed but the prosecutor is the one who decide how things end.
However if the court finds Caitlyn guilty she will be facing up to a whole year in jail. Mitigating circumstances in this case are – Caitlyn (Bruce) was not under the influence of alcohol or drugs, she (he) was not texting or calling anybody at the time. She also does not have prior criminal history.
Jenner was in her (his) black Escalade vehicle when she (he) crushed into Kim Howe’s Lexus and pushed him on the other lane which caused another crash that killed driver of the Lexus.
Police have video of the accident from two different angles which helped them to make full reconstruction of a crash.
Jenner was not speeding at the time, but according to detectives she was driving too fast considering conditions on the road.
Driver of the Prius, Jessica Steindorff will also face charges because she was driving on a suspended license.
Family of a dead victim and a driver of Prius, a third car involved in the crash are suing reality star. Caitlyn gave statement at the time of the accident and never spoke publicly about it, ever since.
